People's Climate Justice: The People's Tribunal Against Ecogenocide from Belém to Antalya

Unfortunately we have made the very difficult decision to cancel this event. Considering the red weather warning in place across London, and the Met Office advice, we felt it important to prioritise the health and wellbeing of attendees and staff.
We are disappointed to not be able to share our ongoing efforts around climate justice as planned. Particularly as many of the cases presented at the People’s Tribunal Against Ecogenocide are intimately connected to the climate crisis that this current heatwave demonstrates.
We are planning to change the date and reconvene in August/early September at the same location, Calthorpe Community Garden. Please keep an eye out for the new date.

An intimate and joyful event to share the ongoing work of the People's Tribunal Against Ecogenocide and the People's COP in Belém; as well as looking forward to COP31. We will hear from Claudelice Santos – Brazilian human rights and environmental defender and coordinator of the People's COP – and from colleagues in Türkiye as we shape plans for the upcoming People's Climate Summit in Antalya. In recognition of the spirit of hope and grassroots power to pursue climate justice that was so tangible at the People's Tribunal, this event will feature traditional music of resistance from Brazil. Drinks and light refreshments will also be provided.
